Our January 20th meeting will be at Departed Soles Brewery as usual, at 7:30PM.
We’ll be discussing a lot of things, including our Brewery Bus Trip on Saturday. We’ll also be voting on the bylaws that we drafted during our November meeting, so please do your best to attend!
And don’t forget to bring a few bucks to pay for pizza.

The Jersey City Brew Club will not hold a standard meeting for the month of December. Busy spreading good cheer right through ’til the New Year.
PS – If anyone is interested in hosting/co-hosting a Holiday Party, however…
PPS – Just let Kendall know or post on the Facebook Group Page.
Among other things, we’ll be discussing our upcoming brewery tour to the Hudson Valley. Please stop by to give your input, as we nearly have things finalized. We’ll also be discussing bylaws for the club so we can open an official bank account and hopefully move towards nonprofit status at some point.
Don’t forget to bring a few bucks if you want to have some pizza!

The professional lineup so far includes Trap Rock, Tuckahoe, Bolero Snort, Cricket Hill, Boaks, Carton, Beach Haus, Angry Erik, Rammstein, and loads more.
If you want to serve, email Glenn: email@example.com
Due to unforeseen circumstances at Departed Soles Brewery, this month’s JCBC meeting (Wednesday 8/19) will be at HopsScotch Bar. We will be back at Departed Soles next month.
This month’s meeting is at Departed Soles Brewery, 150 Bay St, not at HopsScotch! We also have a guest speaker
Beer writer John Holl (All About Beer Magazine, American Craft beer Cookbook, and more) will be speaking to us during this meeting and sharing some brews. John gets beer mailed to him from all over the world and has traveled to loads of breweries around the planet. He’ll talk to us about the route he’s taken to get to this position, and he’ll be open to any questions you might have.
Also, Departed Soles doesn’t have food, so we’ll be getting some pizza delivered. Bring a few bucks to chip in if you want to eat.
Message firstname.lastname@example.org if you want directions to the location. It’s on Wayne St by Van Vorst Park.
Date, Time & Location are all set for the JCBC Hop Tasting Experiment. We’ll be messaging everyone as the date comes nearer with the address. It’s gonna be fun!
Location: Dana’s place – Wayne St, Jersey City
Date: Saturday, June 27at 3:00pm
Only JCBC Dues-Paying Members may attend! Become a member here:
Hops to taste (may vary according to availability):
Amarillo, Cascade, Citra, Simcoe, El Dorado, Galaxy, Mandarina Bavaria, Mosaic, Saaz, Strisselspalt, Tahoma
Leftover hops (since we’ll only need a few pellets of each) will be given out to attendees.
If anyone would like to speak to the meeting, or knows someone that would be available, please email email@example.com. It could be anything from brewing techniques, science stuff, or even just info about running a business or travelling to breweries around the world. We just want to get some interesting speakers.
