At this month’s meeting we are hosting a “fantasy draft” for building a beer. The beers will be voted on at November’s meeting and instead of a duel, this is open to everyone! Just fill out the signup sheet below and add your suggestions for ingredients. Everyone participating will pick ingredients from a board, just like a fantasy football draft. Everyone’s beer will be different, and at November’s meeting we’ll pick the winners. Cool!
Also at this month’s meeting, the brew duel is Nick vs Larry who brewed dark lagers with cherries. We’ll also talk specifics about an upcoming educational session for sensory tasting of off flavors. This will likely be in October, so stay tuned! We’ll be dosing light lagers with off flavors (like oxidation, acetic acid, etc) so you can identify the flavors and learn what causes them and how to prevent them.
