We are doing a sensory training session for off flavors! We’ll be drinking some lager at Jersey City’s own 902 Brewing and doing a side by side comparison of the baseline beer vs beer dosed with various off flavors so we can learn what the flavors are, what they smell like, what they taste like, and how to prevent them.
If you’re a new or experienced brewer, or not a brewer at all, this will be fun and educational! This is also very useful if you’re interested in judging homebrew competitions or becoming a BJCP-certified judge. Space is limited, so sign up ASAP.
