Our club has already missed two meetings and it looks likely we’ll miss a third, but we’re sure everyone is still brewing and drinking good beer while stuck inside. So what better time than a quarantine for a brewing contest!
This contest is being hosted by Departed Soles Brewery who will be doing the judging, and the winner will have a chance to brew their beer with the professional brewers at Departed Soles on their pilot system and full-scale system! If Departed Soles cans the beer, the winning brewer will work with Departed Soles on the artwork and have their name featured on the cans. Cool!
Important information:
• Entrants must be a current dues-paying member. Renew your dues by clicking the “Membership” page in the “About” section of our site, or if you are unsure of your membership status, email info@jerseycitybrewclub.com
• Entry drop-off period is Friday 6/26 – Saturday July 4 at The Thirsty Quaker or Departed Soles Brewery
• Entries must be 4 x 12 oz bottles, recipe included
• If a sour is submitted, it must be a kettle-sour only
